The New World to Come:A Future Celebration-The Last of John McCain
The crowd gathered around the museum exhibit anxiously. For years the government had limited discussions of ancient history to vague references. The state owned official media had limited coverage going, only allowing an old, about to retire, reporter to attend for a text report that would go in as a filler in the daily internet report that a party representative on the media censors would need to approve beforehand. Everyone knows that the old really have nothing to say of value for their experience was tainted by prejudice of the ancient traditions.
The children were required to stay with the official state teacher who was lecturing on how this exhibit portrayed the unenlightened world before the the STWA (SinoTransWorld) Unity Alliance came into being. A few grey haired octogenarians from the state nursing home across the street were laughing quietly. The reporter avoided being close to them because it was official government policy that these elderly were contaminated by old ideas and best left isolated. The new school revolution had rid society of the plague of old ideas efficiently so once this generation of old folks died there would be no more problems.
The teacher began “World Citizens of the STWA welcome to the Paternal Government’s Exhibit of the Old World. Today as we continue to take care of the few remaining victims of the old world in our paternal care centers, we reflect on the terrible world that preceded our great alliance. The hideous notions that individuals could on their own seek what was best for them and that a government did not know better how best they could live each moment of their lives as symbiotic components like bees in a hive.
“This hive we make for the whole not the one. Like a machine it runs in which we allow no broken cogs or uneven wheels. In our quest for perfection we now plan each birth and each death to greatest detail. No moment of doubt and or period of reflection shall diminish or inhibit our quest for perfection.”
“We pity these poor old folk who lack total insight into the complete ineptitude of individual human nature and cannot understand that we are nothing without the government which cradles us from birth to death. Never again, I say, shall we ever allow any man, woman, or child to seek a path different from that which the almighty government has seen fit to decree for each of our brethren. We have removed all evidence of the previous corruption and disease from our records, halls, and schools save the one last in our search for completeness. Today we remove all mention of John McCain for he was ugly and old, the last of the old world, in celebration of the glorious millennium to come and rejoice in compliance to the one.”
